We are now taking orders
Please check your agreement to see how many tonnes you need to be feeding. It should equate to 500kg per hectare of winter bird food (AB9), feed of which 70% can be wheat. The rest can be one of the following mixes;
- AB12 Budget Mix (red dari, white millet, oilseed rape, black sunflower)
- AB12 Premium Mix (white millet, oilseed rape, sunflower hearts, black sunflowers, red millet, canary seed)
Our mixes have changed slightly this year thanks to the input of our ex-RSPB bird expert, Kirsty Brannan, who started working for us last December.
Straights are also available and we can still do tailored mixes for those who need them. All prices are ex - store, delivery will be charged at cost and can begin from mid-October.
This should be mainly trail fed with no more than 10% through hoppers. Feeding should take place once a week @ 25kg per ha of wild bird mix at 2 separate locations.
Remember to keep a diary – they do look for this in inspections.
